I'm working on story telling with my images in anticipation of doing more environmental photojournalism and documentary work. Here is a photo from my ornithology class today. I'm not sure about the processing, and would love any and all critiques you can give! Please be honest.

Dr. Jon Atwood shows graduate students from Antioch University New England how to look for body fat on songbirds using a juvenile Red-eyed Vireo for demonstration during an ornithology class this morning.

Kari, I think this is already

Kari, I think this is already a strong storytelling image. As far as the storytelling potential of the image, I think it would be even better if it showed the professor engaging with one or more students (even something as simple as eye contact, for example). This image shows the banding process well, but not the student-teacher interaction.
