Along the coasts of Southeast Asia exists a cat that specializes in swimming for its meal. Its skin never gets wet, and to look at it brings to mind a leopard that shrunk in the wash.
More than likely, you’ve never seen a fishing cat, or even heard of it. Only about 10,000 remain in the world, and they are in trouble. But my colleague Joanna Nasar and I are hoping to help change that. Please check out CAT in WATER, our new Kickstarter project.
In short, you’ve got an endangered and rarely seen fishing cat, two trekking journalistas and a media expedition through Thailand to show you this species for the first time.

Morgan, I'm excited for you and Joanna! This looks like a great project highlighting a very little-known species. I'll admit that I knew about it, but that's because I'm a hopeless biodiversity nerd :)
Good luck with the fundraising! Once you've wrapped up the fundraising period, it would be great to know more about your experience with Kickstarter, since it's a funding resource that our other members might be interested in.
