Google Earth Outreach gives non-profits and public benefit organizations the knowledge and resources they need to visualize their cause and tell their story in Google Earth & Maps to the hundreds of millions of people who use them. The even have grants providing software to non-profits. Great resource!

Free Oxford University Press textbook - Conservation Biology For Everyone

Apparently in support of this year being the International Year for Biodiversity, Oxford University Press is making a Conservation Biology textbook freely available. Please pass this email to as many schools, wildlife clubs and others you can and/or print it and give it!!

Vimeo School: the new FREE online courses in film creation

Vimeo, the online video sharing site has recently set up what they call the Vimeo School - a section of their site dedicated to teaching people both basic and advanced techniques in video creation. They have dozens of video tutorials from how to get started to how to refine advanced skills. I've watched a few of the tutorials and I think that they are great.
